Boing cards were initially issued and distributed in Norway together with the football comic magazine Boing, in the end of the 90's. In 2005 Boingklubben started up as subscription service on the Boing magazine. As a subscriber, you would each month receive a package with the magazine together with other football related items such as books, posters, figurines, t-shirts, collecting cards etc.
In 2006, Boingklubben also started in Sweden and Finland. However, after a few years, in 2010, the decreasing number of subscribers forced the club to close the business in Sweden and Finland. But Boingklubben continued to be a success in Norway and in 2013 they changed the name to Kickerz (see separate page in the menu to the left).
2013 Kickerz also returned to Sweden again.
